Der Index wurde mit wissenschaftlicher Unterst\u00fctzung des Nationalen Zentrums f\u00fcr Forschung und technologische Entwicklung (CERTH) erarbeitet und orientiert sich weitgehend an den Standards \u00e4hnlicher Initiativen anderer Biomasse- und Pelletverb\u00e4nde in Europa, etwa proPellets Austria f\u00fcr Holzpellets und des spanischen Biomasseverbands (AVEBIOM).
