Deburring of metal part, Axinar S.A.

Burr Removal &
Final Finishing

During cutting, drilling or machining of metals, sharp edges and burrs are created which affect the quality, functionality and safety of the part. Deburring is the critical process that removes these irregularities and gives the part its final surface.

At Axinar, deburring is not a stand-alone service, it is part of our integrated production process. From laser cutting through to welding and coating, every part we deliver has a finished surface, ready for use or assembly.

We take full responsibility for the finishing, processing parts in a tumble barrel, vibratory bowl or brush & abrasive belt machine, depending on the requirements of each job.

Finishing of metal part after laser cutting, Axinar S.A.

Safety

No sharp edges, no risk of injury during assembly or use.

Aesthetics

Uniform, clean final surface, even on parts that will be painted or galvanized.

Functionality

Accurate fit of parts, correct assembly, no irregularities at the edges.

Deburring
Methods

Vibratory Bowl

Vibratory Finishing

Batch processing of small and medium parts through vibration with abrasive media. Ideal for uniform finishing on large quantities.

Tumble Barrel

Tumble Deburring

Rotary processing in a barrel with abrasive media. Suitable for larger parts that need more aggressive burr removal.

Brush & Abrasive Belt

Brush & Belt Deburring

Machine with rotating brushes and abrasive belts for flat sheet. Ideal for laser or plasma cut parts.

    FAQ

    What is deburring?
Deburring (burr removal) is the process of removing sharp edges, burrs and irregularities created during cutting, drilling or machining of metal parts. It is a critical step for the safety, functionality and aesthetics of the final product.
Which deburring methods do you use?
We use three methods: vibratory bowl (vibratory finishing) for small parts, tumble barrel (tumble deburring) for larger parts, and brush & abrasive belt machine (brush deburring) for flat sheet and cut edges.
On which materials do you perform deburring?
We process all metals: steel, stainless steel (inox), aluminium, galvanised, copper and brass. The method is selected based on the material and the surface finish requirements.
Do you deliver a finished product or just deburring?
We deliver finished parts with a final surface. Deburring is integrated into our production line, cutting, machining, deburring, welding, coating, so that you receive a complete product.
    How much does deburring cost?
The cost depends on volume, geometry, material and the required surface quality. Send us your specifications and you will receive a quote within 24 hours.
Do you only handle deburring or also the next steps?
At Axinar we offer integrated metal fabrication: laser cutting, press brake bending, roll bending, CNC machining, MIG/TIG & laser welding, powder coating and galvanizing, all in-house.
