CNC metal turning is the subtractive process where a cylindrical part rotates while cutting tools remove material with digitally controlled accuracy. At Axinar, CNC turning of parts is done on a Haas ST-15Y turning center, a 4-axis CNC lathe (X, Z, Y, C) with live tooling and a Ø63mm bar feeder. Turning, milling, drilling and threading are completed in one setup.

The Y-axis enables off-centre operations, milling, slots, eccentrics and pockets — without transferring to a second machine. This drastically reduces cycle time and eliminates repositioning errors, making it ideal for precision turning in Thessaloniki.

We machine steel, stainless steel (inox), aluminium, copper, brass and engineering polymers — steel turning, inox turning and aluminium turning with consistent quality. Maximum dimensions Ø279 × 305mm. Combined with CNC milling, laser cutting and welding, we handle integrated fabrication.
