Cutting of Tubes & Profiles
with a Bandsaw
Cutting of tubes & profiles is the process of cutting metal tubes, hollow sections, structural sections (IPE, HEA, HEB, UPN) and solid bar to defined lengths and angles, using a bandsaw. At Axinar in Thessaloniki we specialise in tube cutting with the semi-automatic Kaltenbach KBS 380 NA bandsaw, which ensures length accuracy of ±0.5mm, a clean burr-free cut surface and maximum repeatability, even on large batch production runs.
With automatic material feed and mitre cutting on tubes from -45° to +60°, we perform cutting of hollow sections, cutting of round & square tubes, cutting of structural sections (IPE cutting, HEA cutting, HEB cutting, UPN cutting) and cutting of flat bar. Batch production with bundle cutting allows simultaneous cutting of multiple parts, drastically reducing production time. The Bimetal M42 and Carbide-tipped blades ensure long service life and a clean cut on every material.
