on Every Metal

CNC metal milling at Axinar covers milling, drilling, threading and finishing in one setup. We use a Haas VF-2 vertical machining center, a 3-axis 40-taper mill with a 22.4 kW (30 HP) spindle and an automatic 20+1 tool changer.

Consistent repeatability of ±0.02mm means every part comes out the same, whether it is a prototype or a production run. We deliver excellent surface quality of Ra 0.8, which reduces or eliminates the need for additional finishing.

We machine steel, stainless steel (inox), aluminium, copper, brass and engineering polymers. Combined with laser cutting, press brake and roll bending, we handle integrated fabrication from drawing to finished part.

How we work: The process starts with receiving the 3D model (STEP or IGES) or a 2D drawing with full dimensions and tolerances. The CAM engineer programs the toolpaths in the software, selecting the right tools, speeds and feeds based on the material. Once the quote is approved, the part is clamped on the Haas VF-2 table and machining runs automatically — milling, drilling, threading and finishing in one setup. After completion, every part is dimensionally inspected before delivery. The digital CAM program is archived, so re-orders start without a new setup.

    What tolerances can you achieve on CNC milling?
    The Haas VF-2 milling machine ensures positioning accuracy of ±0.02mm. For even tighter tolerances, contact us so we can assess your requirements.
    In which format do you need drawings for CNC milling?
    We accept STEP, IGES, DXF, DWG, SolidWorks and PDF with full dimensions. We prefer 3D STEP files for faster CAM preparation.
    Do you do prototypes or only production runs?
    Both. We handle everything from single prototypes to batches of hundreds of parts, with the same accuracy and quality in every case.
    Can you also machine plastic materials?
    Yes, we machine engineering polymers such as POM (Delrin), polyamide (PA/Nylon) and polyethylene (PE), ideal for insulating, sliding or corrosion-resistant parts.
    What is the lead time for CNC milling?
    It depends on complexity and quantity. Typically, prototypes in 3-5 business days, production runs depending on volume. Send us the drawing for an exact timeline.
