Metal Fabrication
Metal fabrication covers the design, machining and assembly of components and structures made of steel, stainless steel (inox) or aluminum. Axinar S.A. is one of the few facilities in Greece that offers fully vertically-integrated production of custom metal constructions: from the first laser cut of the sheet metal to the final, certified product, everything is done in-house at our factory in Thessaloniki.
Our specialty is demanding, complex constructions: industrial metal fabrication, photovoltaic mounting systems and complex OEM mechanical assemblies built to order. We do not produce standardized mass-line products; we take on constructions that require mechanical design, precision and quality control at every stage, with results certified to EN 1090 and ISO 9001.
This means that every construction passes through only one set of hands: ours, with no loss of time or control. The in-house production process includes R&D design, laser cutting, press braking, CNC machining, welding, galvanizing and powder coating. The customer receives a finished product, packaged, inspected and certified.

Metal Fabrication Cost

From Idea to Finished Product
A complex metal assembly is not a single piece of sheet metal, it is dozens of components that must work together with precision to deliver the final product: from the load-bearing metal structure to insulation, motors, automation, sensors and electrical systems. At AXINAR every stage of this construction takes place inside our own facility.
Everything starts at R&D, where the product is parametrically designed in 3D, with carefully studied geometry, tolerances and operating requirements, so that the construction is right before the first sheet is cut. From there, the sheet metal is cut on the laser to tolerances that ensure perfect fit, and is shaped on the press brake, which gives the structure its stiffness and geometry. Where greater precision is needed, CNC operations follow (turning and milling) along with drilling and tapping, while PEM fasteners and rivets ensure stable, reliable connections.
The heart of the work is welding: critical points must be perfectly sealed and durable, so welding is performed in a defined sequence and with controlled parameters to keep thermal distortion under control. After grinding and finishing, surface protection follows (galvanizing and powder coating), shielding the structure against corrosion and time.
In final assembly, the individual components (insulation, motors, automation, sensors and electrical systems) come together into a functional whole. Nothing leaves without a final quality check (visual, dimensional and functional testing) so that the customer receives a product that works exactly as designed.
Design & Engineering
We analyze your requirements and create technical drawings for your metal construction in 3D CAD. If you already have a drawing, we evaluate it for manufacturability. Our R&D team ensures every construction meets the mechanical and aesthetic specifications.
Cutting
Fiber laser 3KW & 20KW for sheet metal (steel, stainless, aluminum). Kaltenbach 380H saw for profiles and solid materials. Laser cutting ensures precision and minimal material waste in every steel fabrication.

Forming
7-axis press brake (Salvagnini), Gasparini PBS 165T (CNC Press Brake, 6-Axis Back Gauge), 4-roll plate rolling (DAVI), bending, every forming step is done here. CNC press braking enables precision in architectural metal constructions and industrial components.
CNC Machining
HAAS VF2 4-axis machining center and HAAS ST15Y lathe for milling, turning and precision machining to ±0.05mm.
Welding & Assembly
12 Fronius pulsed stations (steel, stainless, aluminum) + 2 laser welders 3KW. Stud welding and PEM press. Assembly of complete products.
Coating & Surface Protection
Powder coating and high-quality surface protection. For outdoor applications, hot-dip galvanizing, cold galvanizing and Magnelis® coating are available.
Inspection & Delivery
Dimensional inspection per part and per lot. Material certificates, QC reports. The metal construction can also be delivered as a finished product, ready for installation or sale.
