THE PRODUCT
Splitting cones — high durability and versatile applications
The range includes cones in Φ50, Φ75, Φ100, Φ120, Φ150 and Φ220, available as solid construction or with replaceable tips. The cones are manufactured from case-hardened steel (carburized), heat-treated to 62 HRC — file-test proof durability.
Phosphate coating ensures anti-corrosion protection, while the special thread screws into the wood instead of cutting it — meaning zero sawdust, less wear and a cleaner result.
Also available are conical adapters (Φ75→Φ120, Φ100→Φ150) that increase the diameter of an existing cone, as well as replacement tips — change only the consumable, not the entire cone. For in-ground roots, special Φ120 and Φ220 cones with 15mm thread are available.
