Which burner for your square meters?
Burner sizing follows the same logic as boiler sizing, but with one specificity: the burner must match the maximum power your existing boiler can handle.
General rule for Thessaloniki (Zone C): 0.10 kW per m² for moderate insulation. Additionally, the burner should be ≤ 90% of the boiler’s nominal power (for margin).
If your existing oil boiler is 30 kW, the APOPLIM AP30 (30 kW) fits perfectly. If it’s larger (e.g., 45 kW), you can go with APOPLIM AP45. For commercial applications (apartments, hotels), TSOVEA covers 75-150 kW.

- Component installed on the flange of an existing boiler (usually oil) that converts it to a pellet boiler. The burner draws pellet from a silo, burns it, and transfers heat to the boiler water.
