Detachable splitting cone is made for extremely hard woods, constructed from phosphated steel for corrosion protection. The interchangeable tip is made from surface-coated, hardened steel, fully resistant to file wear. Suitable for olive wood and other hard woods (not recommended for fibrous types like almond). The cone features a specially engineered thread geometry to prevent jamming, along with a self-sustaining cutting edge and a secondary assisting spiral for smoother entry. The Φ35 mm central bore is designed to be press-fitted and welded to the shaft, ensuring perfect concentricity even under high stress. Recommended shaft: Φ45 stepped shaft.
