The Axinar Φ120 is a divided splitting cone designed specifically for fibrous woods, made from phosphated steel for enhanced protection. It features a surface-coated, hardened steel tip, fully resistant to file wear. Ideal for fibrous hardwoods such as almond wood. It is equipped with a special geometry, large-pitch 15mm thread that prevents jamming during operation. A self-sustaining cutting edge and secondary assisting spiral ensure smooth and efficient penetration. Warning: Requires high torque, suitable only for hydraulic motor operation. The Φ35 mm bore is designed to be press-fitted and welded to the shaft, ensuring perfect concentricity even under heavy load. Use is recommended with a Φ45 stepped shaft.
