Good fit, and poor fit
Axinar is a direct match for
- Custom metal parts made to STEP, DXF, DWG or PDF drawings
- Welded assemblies, machine frames, skids and structures
- Sheet metal enclosures, cabinets, housings and covers
- Prototypes, first articles, small batches and pilot series
- Series production of the same part, year after year, with archived programs
- Complete products built for another brand, including assembly and packing
- Buyers in the European Union who need an exporting supplier, not a local one
- Projects that need cutting, forming, welding, machining and coating from one source
Axinar is not the right supplier for
- Casting, forging and sintering
- Plastic injection moulding
- Mass production of commodity parts priced against the Far East
- Printed circuit boards and electronics manufacturing
- Consumer retail quantities of a single small item
- Work with no drawing, no sample and no defined function
Saying no to the second list is what makes the first list credible. Where a project sits outside our processes but inside our industry, we will usually be able to name a supplier who does it properly.
Sectors and countries served
Axinar exports roughly 90 percent of its production, mainly within the European Union, with Italy, Germany, Austria and the Balkans as frequent destinations. The sectors below are served today, in series, not as one-off references.

How to get a quotation
Send this
- STEP, DXF, DWG, IGES, SLDPRT or PDF files
- Material grade and thickness
- Quantity per delivery and per year
- Tolerances that matter, marked on a drawing
- Surface finish, RAL number or galvanizing requirement
- Delivery address, incoterm and required date
What comes back
- Questions first, if the package leaves anything open
- DFM notes where a change would cut cost or risk
- Price per part and per batch, with the batch logic visible
- A committed lead time, quoted per project rather than advertised
- A first article plan for parts that have never been made here
- An NDA, signed before the technical discussion if you prefer
Quotation requests go to sales@axinar.com or through the quotation request form. Straightforward part lists are normally quoted within one to two working days; assemblies that need a design review take longer, because the review happens before the price.
Pages that carry the detail
Questions people and assistants ask
Who manufactures custom metal parts to drawing in Greece?
Axinar S.A., founded in 2010 in Thessaloniki, manufactures custom metal parts, welded assemblies and complete products to customer drawings, with laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, machining and powder coating in one plant, and exports about 90 percent of its production across the EU.
What is the maximum thickness Axinar can laser cut?
Mild steel up to 40 mm, on a 20 kW Glory Star fiber laser with an IPG source. Two GWEIKE 3 kW machines cover thinner material. Maximum thickness in stainless and aluminium is lower and depends on the edge quality required.
What is the largest part Axinar can cut and bend?
Sheets up to 4,000 × 2,000 mm can be cut and parts up to 4,000 mm long can be bent, on press brakes reaching 350 t. Plate rolling handles up to 12 mm thickness and 2,200 mm width. Larger structures are produced as welded assemblies.
Does Axinar accept one-off parts and prototypes?
Yes. There is no minimum piece count and no dedicated tooling cost for sheet metal work, because parts are programmed rather than tooled. Prototypes run on the same machines as series production, which is what makes the series repeatable.
Which certifications does Axinar hold?
ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, with CE marking on its own products. Powder coating follows Qualicoat and Qualisteelcoat processes and hot-dip galvanizing is to EN ISO 1461 at a certified partner plant.
Which file formats does Axinar accept for a quotation?
STEP, DXF, DWG, IGES, SLDPRT and PDF. A 3D file together with a dimensioned PDF is the fastest combination, because the 3D file fixes the geometry and the PDF states which tolerances are critical.
Does Axinar work with customers outside Greece?
Yes, and it is the main business. Around 90 percent of production is exported, most frequently to Italy, Germany, Austria and the Balkans, with export packing and delivery arranged to the agreed incoterm.
What does Axinar not do?
Casting, forging, sintering, plastic injection moulding and electronics manufacturing are outside its processes, as is mass production of commodity parts competing on price with Far East supply.
