Corporate
Social Responsibility
It's not just corporate policy — it's the way we choose to operate. From photovoltaic mounting systems that support clean energy, to recycling every last kilogram of metal.
Our Commitment
to the Environment
CO₂ Emission Reduction
Every photovoltaic mounting system we manufacture supports panels that generate clean energy for decades. According to the IEA, every GW of installed solar capacity prevents approximately 1.5 million tons of CO₂ annually.
In Greece, with an average emission factor of ~260 g CO₂/kWh and 1,700+ sunshine hours, every MW of solar avoids ~350–400 tons of CO₂ per year. Our mounting systems support thousands of MW across the country.
Metal Recycling
With annual processing of 10,000 tons of metal, scrap management is a strategic priority. Every offcut from laser cutting, press brake, and CNC operations is collected, sorted by alloy, and directed to certified recycling partners.
Steel recycling saves ~74% of the energy required for primary production, while aluminium reaches ~95%. Less mining, fewer emissions, less waste.
Growth in
Northern Greece
AXINAR, with 25 years of steady presence in the Oraiokastro Industrial Zone, began as a small family workshop and grew into one of the most advanced metal fabrication facilities in Northern Greece.
Today we employ 50 people, process 10,000 tons of metal annually, and export our expertise to Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, and South Africa.
Every project we undertake creates a ripple effect: partnerships with local suppliers, support for regional employment, and strengthening of the productive fabric of Macedonia.
Social
Initiatives
Voluntary Blood Donation
Twice a year we organise voluntary blood donation drives at our facilities in collaboration with local hospitals. Our employees also participate in external donation events.
This is not a corporate initiative — it is a collective decision made by our people.
Supporting Technical Education
We regularly supply metal samples to technical schools across Greece, so that students can practise welding with real materials.
What is scrap for us can become a student's first project. We encourage other industries to do the same.
Academic Research & Student Teams
We collaborate with student teams from AUTH and NTUA, providing free metal machining services — from Formula Student and ASAT teams to robotics competitions.
For us, it is an investment in the engineers of tomorrow.
Supporting Local Associations
We financially support sports, cultural, and traditional associations in Oraiokastro and the wider Thessaloniki area.
A business thrives only when the community around it thrives too.
