Secondary operations are the finishing steps that complete a manufacturing project — riveting, threading, stud welding, engraving. Without them, even the most precise laser cut or the finest weld is not enough to deliver a functional end product.
At Axinar, all secondary operations are performed in-house, fully integrated into the production line. This means zero outsourcing, controlled quality and faster lead times.
We work with parts in steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass — both one-off prototypes and series production runs.
What
We Handle
Rivets
Permanent joining of light metal parts without thermal distortion. Blind rivets (pop rivets) for single-sided access and self-clinching fasteners for a flush surface finish.

- Self-clinching PEM fasteners — nuts, studs, standoffs
- Single-sided installation with no rear access required
- Resistant to vibration and shear loads
- Ideal for thin sheet metal 0.5–4 mm
Rivet Nuts
Threaded inserts installed single-sided, creating a permanent thread in thin metal — where conventional tapping would fail.
- Thread sizes M3 to M10
- Materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminium
- Closed-end or open-end types
- Flat head for flush finish or hex body for anti-rotation
- Pneumatic tooling for consistent, repeatable installation
Stud Welding
Direct welding of studs, nuts and pins onto metal using capacitor discharge (CD). The weld cycle completes in 1–6 ms — no distortion, no discolouration on the reverse side.
- Capacitor discharge (CD) — 1 to 6 ms cycle
- Threaded studs M3–M10 and pins
- Zero backside distortion or marking
- Full fusion across the entire diameter — stronger than the stud itself

Laser Marking
Permanent marking on metal surfaces using fiber laser. Text, logos, serial numbers, barcodes and QR codes — no consumables, no tool wear.
