What happens after the last weld

Quality, inspection and export packing

Buying abroad only works if two things are true: the parts are right, and they arrive the way they left. This page describes how both are controlled, so you can judge it before you order.

Short answer

Axinar works under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Acceptance criteria are agreed in the quotation, proven on a measured first article, then held by archived programs and fixtures. Dimensional reports, material certificates, coating records and serial-number traceability are available, and parts ship on packing built for the part.

Distance turns small quality failures into big ones

When your supplier is an hour away, a wrong hole pattern is an annoyance. When the pallet has crossed three borders, the same mistake stops a line. That is why the quality system on export work has to do its job before the truck leaves, and why the packing has to survive a journey nobody supervises.

Axinar exports around ninety percent of its production, mostly to industrial customers in the European Union who never see the factory. Our quality process is built around that reality: agree the acceptance criteria in the quotation, prove them on a first article, then keep the process fixed so batch ten matches batch one.

Where quality is actually decided

01

At the quotation

Acceptance criteria, critical dimensions, weld and finish requirements are agreed in writing before the order, not argued about afterwards.

02

At the first article

A prototype or first-article batch is measured and reported. You approve it, and that approved part becomes the reference.

03

In process

Archived programs, fixtures and nesting keep the process identical between batches. Operators check against the drawing at each stage.

04

Before dispatch

Dimensional inspection on defined features, visual and finish check, count and labelling verified against the packing list.

How parts are packed for export

Packing is quoted as part of the job, not improvised on the loading bay. Tell us how the parts are handled at your end and the packing is designed backwards from that.

  • Pallets or crates built for the part, sized so nothing moves and nothing carries load it was not made for
  • Separation between coated surfaces, with interleaving where paint or brushed stainless can rub
  • Protective film retained through transport when your line removes it at assembly
  • Edge and corner protection on long fabrications and thin panels
  • Your labelling, part number, revision, quantity, order number and barcode where you specify a format
  • Kitting by assembly, so a set arrives together instead of being sorted from mixed pallets

Frequently asked questions

Are you ISO 9001 certified?

Yes, ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management. Our own products carry CE marking. Certificates are available on request during supplier qualification.

Will you complete our supplier qualification questionnaire?

Yes, that is a normal part of starting work with an industrial customer. Send the questionnaire, the audit checklist or the supplier manual with the RFQ, so any requirement that changes cost or routing is priced in from the start rather than discovered later.

Can we audit the factory?

Customer audits and visits are welcome, and several of our long-term partners have done both before and during production. Remote alternatives, from photo and video documentation of a first article to a video walkthrough, are available when travel is not practical.

What happens if a part is out of tolerance?

It is contained before dispatch where inspection catches it, and if it reaches you, we take it back and correct the cause, not just the part. Because the process is program driven, the fix is normally in the program, the fixture or the drawing interpretation, and that fix is documented.

Which incoterms do you work with?

We quote the terms that suit your logistics, from ex works to delivered, and we regularly ship to Italy, Germany, Austria and the Balkans. State the incoterm and the delivery address in the RFQ, because they change the quoted price and the packing.

Can you hold stock and deliver on call-off?

Yes, call-off schedules are a normal arrangement for series parts. We agree the batch size, the buffer and the call-off notice in the contract, which gives you shorter lead times without holding the inventory yourself.

Send your files, get a real quotation

Upload STEP or DXF files, tell us material, thickness, finish and quantity, and our engineers return a quotation with manufacturability notes. If a small change to a bend radius or a hole position saves you money, we tell you before you order.

Every enquiry is covered by an NDA from the first file.
