Solar carport is a parking canopy where the roof is replaced by PV panels. It produces energy whenever there’s sunshine. The integrated EV charger draws energy directly from production, without going through the grid (net metering optional).

One of the biggest advantages of solar carport in Greece is the simple permitting process:
- No building permit up to 40m² for residences (per current provisions of New Building Code, verify with local Planning Office)
- Connection with DEDDIE: Standard net metering if connected to grid
- EV self-consumption: Doesn’t need grid connection at all, only internal connection
